My ER visit
Today I was at work and I bent down to pick something up. When I came up I nailed my head on the corner of the desk. It hurt really bad, but I thought I had just hit my head really hard. I put my hand on my head to see if I had a goose egg, and much to my suprise my hand was full of blood. Needless to say I had huge gash on my head and I was bleeding pretty good. I left work and went to the ER and an hour later I left with 4 staples in my head. YES staples...I would of much rather gotten stiches. It was awlful. The doctor stapled my head with a staple gun. I am such a clutz. I have to got back in 10 days to get the staples taken out. Nice huh. Something like this could only happen to me. Ho Hum!

Day Trip
Today week took a day trip down to Marietta to visit some friends and my parents (Nana and Papa). Rileigh was so good all day. I drag her everywhere with me. We can be gone all day and I never hear a peep from her. Everyone said she has grown so much, she is getting so big. I can't wait to see how much she weighs at her 4 month check up. We go on Feb. 15th. On Friday we start rice cereal. We'll see how that goes. If she is anything like her mom and dad I'm sure she'll like to eat. Here are some pictures from today.

She is starting to hold things now. She loves her zebra and catipillar.

Hanging out with Nana and Papa.

Gotta love that face!

After a long hard day of playing.

3 Month Pics
Rileigh had her 3 month pictures taken yesterday and she made a complete liar out of me. The first thing I did was brag about how much she smiles and how she can lift her head up so well now. We were there for about and hour and she did not smile ONE time. Keep in mind this kid smiles constantly through the day and she wouldn't even do it once. We put her on her belly and nope...all she did was lay there. We can't wait to get the proofs back. Here is Rileigh today. I'm sure she was thinking ha ha look at me now.

Rolling Over
Tonight Rileigh rolled over from her belly to her back for the first time. It sounds so funny, but Scott and I got so excited and were so proud of her. At first we thought she did by mistake. I had her doing tummy time and she can lift up her chest with her arms. She leaned to one side and over she went. I set her back up and she did it 3 mores times....so it was not an accident. She can roll over! It made us so proud we picked up the phone and called everyone in the family. You would of thought we won a million dollars we were so excited. It's a felling you cannot describe unless you are a parent. The smallest little thing like rolling over can make you so proud inside. Next she has to conquer rolling from back to belly. We caught it on video but I need to figure out how to upload videos to the computer.

3 Months Old
Rileigh turned 3 months old on Thursday. We can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. Before we know it we will be celebrating her 1 year old birthday. I've decided my absolute favorite thing to do is go and get her out of her crib in the morning. She gets so excited to see us and starts squealing at the top of her lungs and kicks her legs. We have a video camera but I have no clue how to put a video our blog. Now that I am back from work I look foward to my days off with her. Here are some pics we took of her on Thursday.

Check out this face!

Back to work
Today is the first day I have gotten a chance to sit down and write a new blog. I went back to work last Thursday. It has not been easy but not quite as hard as I thought. We really lucked out and are not having to send Rileigh to daycare, which puts me at ease a little. I think about her all day long, wondering what she is doing and hoping she is being a good girl for the sitter. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful baby. She is ALWAYS happy. She is constantly cooing and smiling. The sitter said it's really easy to take care of her because all you have to do is smile at her and she talks back to you. I'm not just being a proud mommy, but the only time she fusses is when she is hungry or really tired. Scott says this is the only child we are having because Rileigh is so good he's scared to have another one! She is getting so big. It felt like she was in newborn size clothes forever and just in the past couple of weeks she has really filled out. She will be 12 weeks on Thursday and just now can wear 0-3 months...finally! Her legs are really starting to fill out and her cheeks as well. We're hoping the hair fairy will visit soon, b/c I can't wait to put bows in her hair. Today is my first day off with her since I went back to work. Here are some pictures of her today. I am almost guaranteed a smile when I put her on her changing table.

Wish Me Luck
Well today is the day I go back to work. Wish me Luck. Rileigh is going to Scott's moms today and then tomorrow my mom is watching her. So I don't think it is going to be as hard right away. Monday when she goes to day care will be the worst. I am going to miss her so much. When you spend 3 months straight with someone you get kinda attached. I am going to miss everything about Rileigh. Most of all I will miss being able to kiss her 100 times a day...now she may only get 50 kisses. Scott will have her over the weekend. I know that is going to be tough waking up going to work and leaving them at home. So...wish me luck.

Go Dawgs!
New Blog
Hey Guys,
We no longer have Rileigh's website, instead we will be using this blog site. It is much easier. We will still be able to post pictures of Rileigh and update you on her and things going on in our lives. Today is New Year's Day and last night was the first time Scott and I were not able to go out and celebrate. Having children changes your priorities. Rileigh is like her Dad and Mom she likes to be in her own bed when she goes to sleep. She will be 12 weeks on Thursday (I can't believe it). I go back to work on Thursday as well. Rileigh will start day care on Monday. Wish us luc
