Rice Cereal

Tonight was Emma's first time eating rice cereal. She wasn't quite sure what she thought about it. She actually gagged a little bit. Practice makes perfect. We'll keep trying over the next few day to get her used to it. Rice cereal already??? Here's our big girl.

Roller Babe

Check out this Roller Babe! P.S. Roller Skating gives you a booty like that too!

Destin 2009

So we just got back from the beach and had a great time despite Riliegh getting an ear infection. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Don't you wish you had lips like these?

Or a hat like this?

Rileigh now knows how to tell you she is going to be 2! Eyes crossed in all

Emma's 1st Haircut

So we did it! We cut Emma's hair. It was falling out so bad and she had so much on top she was starting to look like Donald Trump with a comb over. It's really short but hopefully if we start over her new hair will grow in evenly. She did really well.

4 months old

Today Emma is four months old. We just got back from the beach and she was such an angel the entire time. Emma is now laughing out loud, sleeping through the night, sucking on her hands, cooing and squealing, holds her head up with no support, and eats 5oz every four hrs through the day. Also her hair all of sudden is falling out and is starting to look crazy. She has no hair on the left side of her head and a ton on top. We may be going for her first hair cut soon! We go Tuesday for her well visit. She is such a chunk, can't wait to see how much she weighs. We should be able to start rice and some baby food.

23 months

I can't even believe that this little girl is going to be 2 in a month! Rileigh is definitely the life of the party, miss personality! She makes me laugh and smile constantly. I love it when for no reason at all she'll come up and hug my legs and in her high pitched voice say, "Hi Mama". Now that she knows her colors she points every color out "that del doe" "that boo" "that green". So cute. She definitely has started the terrible two. I can't even count how many times a day she says no. She gets into EVERYTHING...but yet is still so cute.

Attention Moms: Carter's Return

So someone at the ball park mentioned to me that Carter's is taking back tagless garments from their Fall 2007 line...so after a little research I figured out some very valuable info....so if you buy Carter's clothes KEEP READING.

Apparently a small percentage of children who have severe skin allergies got an allergic reaction to Carter's tagless garments from Fall 2007. That just happens to be when Rileigh was born and I LOVE CARTER'S CLOTHES (inexpensive and so cute). So I found this link
http://www.carters.com/corporate/tagless_message.aspx

I called the consumer affairs number today and the lady was SO nice and with no questions asked, she explained the process:

Call the 1-800 consumers affair number and let them know you have some Fall 2007 tagless garments you will like to return. They will get your contact info and ask how many pieces you have. They will mail you a pre paid evelope that you in return mail back your clothes( yes used clothes)! Carter's in 2-3 week will mail you a refund check in your name for all the items. I asked how much for each item and she said whatever they sold for the most in the store. For example: 5 pack of onesies $16.99! So I've done some digging and have found a ton of Carter's newborn clothes that I will be sending back for a refund check! I'll let you know how it goes.

Colors!

So I decided to start working on colors with Rileigh last night and so far she is picking up on it really well. It's a little early to start colors (Don't worry I'm not trying to make my child a genius or something)....but she speaks so well I thought she would pick it up pretty quickly. She has trouble with Red, Pink and Green for some reason but it cracks me up in this video when Scott asks her a color she doesn't know, she just giggles! Plus I just love hearing her say yellow.

Morning Sunshine!

This is Emma when I went in to get her out of her crib this morning! Yes, I'm psycho mom...that is her monitor right near her head (so I can hear her breath)!
