Crazy Girl

This weekend Rileigh spent the night at her Papa and Nana's(my parents) house for the first time. My parents really enjoyed having her but she did keep them busy. Mom said she explored the entire house and pulled everything out of the drawers and cabinets...what a surprise. The one thing they kept saying was "she is hilarious" and that she is. She cracks us up many times a day with her many different faces and expressions, and just the crazy little things she does. Here are some pics of our crazy girl.

Rileigh Walking

I've finally figured out how to put a video on her blog! Rileigh finally got brave tonight and took her first real steps. What an awesome feeling it is to feel so proud of your child. Enjoy.

Copy Cat

Rileigh thought it was hilarious that Scott was curling his lip out at her tonight. She is really into pointing right now...she points at EVERYTHING.

So this is how the copy cat walked around the rest of the night...or should I say push her horse around the rest of the night.

Notice her curling her lip out and pointing at the camera.

5-5-5

Well I was tagged by one of my friends Ashley to do this thing called 5-5-5. You are supposed to go to the 5th folder on your computer and post the 5th picture and tag 5 people. Well sorry Ashley....Our computer crashed about a month ago and we lost all of our pics...ahhh!! I know. So the 5th folder for us was a picture of Rileigh from Christmas! Sorry I'm no fun.

Thanks Cathy for the cute sweater!

15 month Check up

Rileigh went to her 15 month check up on Tuesday. She weighed 24.4lbs (70th percentile) and was 30 1/4 inches tall(45th percentile). Everything went great she is right on track except she is still not walking. The doctor said she is on track developmentally, she is just very cautious when it comes to walking. Hopefully soon she will be walking...who knows! She is getting so big and is so fun to be with.
She talks more and more everyday and surprises us sometimes with the things she knows or just blurts out...like "shoes" the other day. She is growing up way to quick for me.

It's a Girl

We found out today that baby # 2 is a girl!!! Her name will be Emma Caron Raftelis, and we will call her Emma. Caron is Scott's mother's maiden name, and his grandparents last name. We are so excited, how fun it will be to have 2 little girls. Poor Scott...they'll have him wrapped around his finger in a heartbeat just like me and my sisters do our dad! Looking forward to decorating the nursery and start shopping for more little girls clothes...yippee!

Monkey Joe's

Today my best friend Cathy, her son Riley, my Rileigh and myself went to Monkey Joe's in Kennesaw. What a blast we had but after an hour of chasing after our kids we were exhausted and so were they. Good thing Cathy was there b/c I would of never gotten Rileigh through and up some of the jumpie things.

After Monkey Joe's we took the kids to Chick-fil-a for lunch where Rileigh kept calling this weird looking man "Da Da" over and over again...embarrassing!
Then we went to visit Nana (my mom) at work. Rileigh got to play with her jewelry and meet people on 3 floors of City Hall in Marietta.

Then we went back to Cathy's house to play with her kids...don't forget your safety goggles!

An afternoon with Papa

Today my dad (Papa) came up to spend some time with Rileigh. She has been going through this weird phase where she won't go to other people when I am around. Well today Papa came to visit and she warmed right up to him. They read books together, played with all the toys on the floor and rocked in the rocking chair. By the way my dad makes the best animal noises ever! Please excuse her crazy hair
