To crawl...or to walk?

Rileigh is still not crawling, but somehow manages to get where she wants. Sometimes I think she is more interested in walking so we got her a new toy. See below how it has worked out for us.

She can ride on it or walk with it

When you put the toy to the walking position it goes to fast and flies out in front of her. So, my friend JJ gave me the idea to have her walk behind the box...it works perfectly. She walks behind this box and pushes it all over the place. Who would of known, I could of saved some money and just bought a box to teach her to walk.

She was also cracking us up trying to get through this toy to me. She was making the funniest faces.

This was the end result

My Maracas

Rileigh loves anything that makes noise, so we bought her some maracas! She shakes and bangs them together to make the loudest noise possible. Next purchase are the drums! Soon she will be a one person band.

9 months old!

Today Rileigh is 9 months old, I can't even believe I am saying that. What's even scarier is 3 more months she will be a year old...wow! She is so much fun now and does so many things. Here are a few...

She's getting better everyday at feeding herself

She loves to stand up against anything. She may walk before she even thinks to crawl.

She can clap her hands

She can wave bye bye (with both hands...eww)

and many more things I can't catch on camera.

Most of all she is the love of our life and she is just too darn cute!

4th of July

We went to the NGCSU to see the fireworks on Friday. Rileigh was not too sure about them but did pretty well until the grand finale and she started to cry hysterically. Here are some pics from the night.

Warning Don't turn your back on Rileigh
