Nap time in my crib
So I have to admit, Rileigh is such a good baby but we have spoiled her a little and she DOES NOT like to nap in her crib. She does great at night time, we lay her in the crib when she is awake and she sleeps through the night. For some reason she will not fall asleep in her crib during the day time. So for 7 1/2 months now she has been napping on our bed, Confession: or in our arms. Today I had a proud mommy moment, probably sounds silly to you but she napped in her crib without fussing! Yippee! Hope this will be the new trend b/c soon she will be crawling. Don't worry we don't go out in public with just the diaper!

Memorial Day
Monday we went to Marietta for Memorial Day. We went to my parents and also to my best friend Cathy's house. Rileigh got to play with her kids Katelyn and Riley. My Rileigh got in the baby pool for the first time and absolutely loved the water. She also got to swing in an infant swing and loved every minute of it. She would of stayed in the water and swing all day. She is getting so big and we are finding she likes to do new and different activites more and more. Here are some pics from the day.

Mother's Day/ 7months old
Today is Mother's Day and I have to say I feel very special to be able to say I am Rileigh's mommy. Words cannot even begin to describe the love you have for you own children. I can be in the worst mood and all she has to do is smile and it makes my heart melt. Today we tried a new church and Rileigh went to the nursery for the first time. She made a craft with her foot print and a bible verse on the bottom. It meant the world to me and made my day! She also is 7 months old today! We often question ourselves what did we do without her.

On Saturday we went to my parents house to have Mother's Day with my family. I think being a mom has made me appreciate my mother even more. I love you Mom!
