Scott's B-day

Scott's birthday was on Thursday and we had his family over for dinner, cake and ice cream. I finally got some pictures of our niece Ava, Bladen(Rileigh's uncle) and Rileigh together. We had a great time spending time together. The kids are finally at the age where they are starting to play well with each other. Rileigh is finally starting to warm up to more people especially her Aunt Missi. I feel bad I didn't get any pictures of the birthday boy....I'm sure he will be real upset!(J/K)

Emma's Nursery

So its still not finished but Emma's nursery is coming together quite nicely. We still are missing her mattress and things to decorate the walls with but here it is so far.



I know blue is traditionally not a girly color, but its my favorite color so hopefully Emma will like it too.

Clothes Anyone!

We've had quite a busy weekend. We decided since we are only 8 weeks away from Emma arriving in this world we better get her room ready. I will post pics of the finished product later. But in the meantime we cleaned out closets to make room in Emma's closet and this was the end result. Rileigh thought it was free grounds to make a mess out of the mess Scott and I had already created. Here is Rileigh on the mound of clothes that we will be donating. It was quite funny to see some of the clothes Scott and I still had in our closets.

Happy Easter!

What a beautiful day today was to celebrate Easter. We went to the early service which was really good. Made a stop by Scott's parents so Rileigh could get her Easter basket from her grandparents. Then off to my parents to spend the rest of the afternoon playing outside and having her first Easter egg hunt. We had such a great day, but needless to say she is pooped. Here are some pics from the day.

18 months old!

Today Rileigh is 18 months old and I can't even believe it. In my head she is still a baby, but she really is not. She is so much fun to be with and has the best personality. She surprises us each day with the many things she knows and can say. She loves music and loves to dance. She knows the motions to many different songs. She knows all of her body parts and is so cute when she shows you. There are so many things I love about his girl I could go on forever. Recently she finally started giving kisses which just melts my heart. She will lay her head on me or Scott and say "Hi Mama" or "Hi Dada". She is cute 90% of the time, but is starting to get quite the attitude. Sometimes it is funny but Scott and I really need to start disciplining her.

Below is a video of her this morning. Right now two of my favorite things she does is sing "Da de, da de, da de". We think her cousin Ava is "Nina" which she says constantly...which is so cute. Enjoy.

Visit from my Aunts

Today my sisters came to visit Rileigh. She has a blast but was exhausted by the time they left. Aunt Ally brought her a new movie, and Aunt Erin gave her another haircut...no more mullet! The top of her hair grows MUCH slower than the rest so the back tends to get really long! If you click on the first picture you can see the mullet and all its glory.

So My Best friend Cathy's little girl loves to dress up all the time. She wears Cathy's black boots constantly. Do these pictures of Katelyn remind y'all of anybody?
