More Summer Fun!

Can I just say I love maternity leave. We have had such a fun weekend. This weekend Scott's mom rented a cabin in Cleveand right near Helen at this resort called Mountain Lakes Resort. They do fire works a week early. Rileigh was scared at first but then was calling out the colors of the fireworks. We also celebrated Rileigh's Uncle Bladen's 6th birthday.Then we went back up today for some pool time and we got to spend some time with Scott's grandmother that is down from Maine.

Cheap Summer Fun!

Tonight Rileigh went to her first big girl birthday party. It was at Francis Meadows Aquadic Center in Gainesville. This is our new found fun for the summer. It's only $6 for adults and kids under 2 are free. Rileigh had so much fun there. If you live in the area check it out. If you don't come visit us and we'll take you.

Today we went to my best friend Cathy's house to visit and let the kids play together. Rileigh really had a blast playing with her kids Katelyn who is 4 and Riley who is 2. After today I believe Rileigh has found a new love!

Meet Happy

Meet Happy


Yes that is a potty...and yes call me crazy. Even though Rileigh is only 20 months old she really has started talking a lot, using more words and communicating very well with us. The last couple of weeks she has been telling us when she goes poo poo. She says "butt poo" and points to her rear. Today I bought her a potty. She has a stuffed frog that she calls "Happy" so I thought that she would like a frog potty that she now calls "Happy".

When we got home I put her on it and told her to "go pee pee in happy"...and she did. I was totally surprised. She gets a M&M when she goes to the potty. Throughout the night she has gone pee a few more times with only 1 accident.

We'll see how it goes. I'm not full on potty training her...I just want her to get used to the potty and know thats where she goes. If she catches on she does...if not we will try again later.

It is SO hard to get Rileigh in pictures these days. I've been trying to get one of Scott and the girls and this is the best we could do. This was this morning after we woke up.

We love you so much Scott. Thanks for the being the best daddy ever! Your girls are so blessed to have a daddy like you.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day a day early so yesterday was an eventful day full of family.
Scott's grandmother Nana is in town from Maine so we stopped by for her to meet Emma.


Then we headed to my sisters house to celebrate Father's day with my family. Here are my parents with the grandbabies.

Then we ended the evening by taking Rileigh down to the pond to feed the geese. Some nice man gave her a cracker to feed to the geese...instead she ate it.

Exhausted!

We took Rileigh swimming at my sister Allison's pool today. This is her afterwards....exhausted from swimming and eating homemade chocolate chip cookies from her Nana.

First Real Bath

Emma's umbilical cord finally fell off and she got her first real bath. Look she's not sleeping she does have eyes.

She makes me smile :)
