No it's not Chicken Pox

Rileigh had her 12 month immunizations 2 weeks ago which included her 1st round of the MMR vaccine. The doctor said she may develop a fever and maybe a rash on her chest 7-14 days later. Boy he wasn't kidding....a Rash??? She was absolutely miserable. She woke up Saturday morning with this rash from head to toe and itching like crazy. I felt so bad for her. We called the doctor again to make sure it was from the shot and they said it happens in about 1 out of 20 kids and it is the bodies natural way to develop immunity. Today is day 3 of the rash and she still has it and looks horrible, but is no longer itching. So warning to all moms this could happen with the MMR Vaccine. Gold Rush

We took Rileigh to Gold Rush and she loved it. She loves people and to people watch. Next year she will be able to ride the rides and eat the great food. We love us some Gold Rush!

Rileigh's Going to be a Big Sister!

Yes we are pregnant again! Rileigh is going to be a big sister. We found out a week and half ago but our computer has not been working so we are just now being able to share it with you guys. I am only 7 1/2 weeks along and due June 14th. It took about a year to get pregnant with Rileigh so we thought it may take awhile with the next one. Well we were wrong. 3 months later I have another bun in the oven! We are so excited they will be 20 months apart. The journey begins again.!

12 month check up

Rileigh had her 12 month check up today. When the doctor come in she waved at him, it was so cute. She weighed 21 lbs(50th percentile) 30inches(80th percentile). She got 4 shots which was so hard to watch, but as soon as I picked her up from the table she magically stopped crying. He asked his usually questions about development and the only ones she did not pass were "Is she walking" and "can she point to things". Neither which is not a big worry if she is not doing them. I told him she didn't crawl til 10 1/2 months so she may be 2 before she walks!! He asked me the words she says which includes...ma ma, da da, bye bye, gone gone, thank you, uh oh...which made me feel pretty proud. We are looking forward to the next year of our baby girls life!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Today is Rileigh's 1st Birthday! We had a party for her and she had a blast. Someone we knew had a moonwalk which worked out perfectly to entertain all the kids. She loved her cake and was so good the entire party. Here are just a few pics of the day. We can't believe our baby is a year old. It seems like yesterday we were at the hospital!

Pink Lamb was a bust!

I have been looking everywhere for the Halloween costume for Rileigh and it was on back order online. Well I found it at Walmart today and was So excited about it. Needless to say the 6-12months was a little small...I had to pry the hat on her tater head....the hunt is on for a 12-18 month! Isn't she SO CUTE!!!
