Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Today we got up and went to church and afterwards headed to my parenets in Marietta. Rileigh had an Easter egg hunt and Emma just sat looking pretty for everyone. Over the past 3 days Rileigh has gotten more sweets to last us a lifetime. Hope everyone a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

Beautiful Day!

Today was absolutely beautiful! We spent the afternoon at the park. I'm so ready for Spring.

Don't you love that this slide has graffiti in it...nice!

10 months old

Emma turned 10 months old this week! She is army crawling pretty good now and can get where she needs to go. She still has no teeth, but we are starting to introduce solid foods. She loves to sleep and she loves to cuddle. She can wave bye, bye and claps her hands and says "yeah". I guess its time to start planning someones birthday party!

We may have a lefty

Rileigh is starting to do more and more things with her left hand. We usually do not encourage coloring in books but this is the only one she is allowed to. I've noticed when she colors she always uses her left hand.

When she eats she uses her left hand. Yes that is the worlds largest spoonful of corn and rice.

Scott is ambidextrous and can do things with left and right hands. He writes with his right hand but plays most sports left handed. He is hoping we have a lefty on our hands...we'll see.

9 months old

Emma turned 9 months old Saturday. She is still not crawling but really close. She is very laid back and anything goes. She rolls all over the floor to get where she needs to go. We are going to start solids and start to transition her off the bottle. She takes a paci but does not have to have it.

Scott and I were talking about how different your 2nd child is. For some reason we are in no hurry with Emma for the next step...like solid foods, sippie cup etc. We just took her out of the carrier into a convertible car seat. She just seems like such a baby and I forget she is old enough to do certain things. Here is our pretty like girl. She is such a joy!
