We sometimes lay Emma in her bassinet and I went to go check on her and this is how I found her peeping over the side.

Gold Rush 2009

Tara you beat me to it! This weekend was one of my favorite weekends of the year. Gold Rush in Dahlonega! Saturday it was miserably cold and rainy so the girls went home with my parents while Scott and I went to Gold Rush to be with our friends. It was SO good to see all our NGCSU Alumni friends and all my blogging buddies! I love blogging because you can keep up with what is going on in others peoples lives and you know everything about them and their family. I've made many friends through blogging. It was so neat to see them this weekend because you feel like you already know them and their kids! Saturday Scott and I had a much needed night out with out the girls to be with our friends.

Sunday it was beautiful but still freezing cold, but we managed to venture up to Gold Rush with the girls.

Happy 2nd Birthday Rileigh!

Today Rileigh turned 2! I can't believe my baby is 2....wow. She definitely had a Dora themed birthday party...surprise! Most of presents were Dora as well! Our family and friends know her well. She was so sweet and thanked everyone after each present and loved all the company. Her favorite thing of the day were the Dora, Diego and Boots figurines that were one top of her cake...who knows? Here are some pics of the day.

Rileigh will not take these shoes off!! She thinks it's funny to run in them...needless to say she has twisted her ankle about 5 times already. I've got to get these things away from her before she gets injured.
