Pretty!
Rileigh saw me paint my toes for the first time last week, and all she said was "Pretty"! So today before I went to work I had to slap some more toenail polish on my toes to look halfway decent. Side note: they look horrible, but from a far you would never know...and don't make fun of my ugly feet. Rileigh actually let me paint hers and sat still the whole time. I can't wait to do all the girly stuff with her like get our nails and hair done!

Wish I had a cute pink for the first time, but this will do.

Rileigh and her Uncle Bladen
For those of you that may not know Scott's parents were once foster parents. They received a little boy that was 3 days old about 5 years ago, and decided to adopt him. His name is Bladen and he is 5 years old now and in Kindergarten. Needless to say Rileigh ABSOLUTELY loves him. She is very particular about kids she likes and Bladen can do no wrong. So Bladen is Scott's and I's brother and Rileigh's Uncle...kinda funny she has a 5 year old Uncle. He spent the night with us last Saturday night and they had a blast. Even though there is a huge age difference they play really well together. Here are some pics of Bladen pretending to read to Rileigh.

And Rileigh reading to Bladen

Hmm... imagine that...they are reading the Underwear book!

Working at the Car Wash

It's a beautful day in the neighborhood!
No More Paci!
Yippee! Rileigh no longer has her paci. Rileigh really loved her paci. She took it mainly in the car and at night. I swore I would never be that mom with a child running around talking behind her paci. Then suddenly one day it hit me that in almost 3 months I would have a newborn and how could I expect Rileigh to give up her paci if her baby sister had one. So last Wednesday I found every paci we owned in the house and threw them all out. I thought this whole process was going to be horrible. Well I am glad to report she hasn't had a paci and almost a week and it actually has gone really well. Nap time the first couple of days was a little struggle...but not more paci.
I think it was more me holding back than anything. So all you moms debating when to take the paci away...just do it!

No Snow here!
So what are the odds you live in the North Georgia Mountains and all of Metro Atlanta gets snow, and you get none. We were so disappointed. It rained and rained all day long which made for a VERY LONG day inside. Within the last few weeks Rileigh has really gotten into reading books. Here favorite book is called "What color is your underwear?" It's so cute. Well needless to say Scott and I have the book memorized we have read it so many times over and over again.(Tara maybe you need to get this book for Ramsey since he likes your underwear so much!) Rileigh is getting to be so fun. She has such a good personality and is so fun to be with. She tries to repeat words, dances, makes silly faces and roams all over the house getting into something new each day. Right now she is supposed to be napping but I hear her talking in her crib. Nothing unusual Rileigh talking! Baby # 2 Emma is doing well. I went to my check up this morning. Her heart rate was 148 bpms and so far my pregnancy has been text book. Although it is going way too fast. It's just so hard for me to swallow in 4 months we will have another baby...crazy.
