Whats been going on?

We've had quite an eventful last week and a half. We were supposed to go on vacation but opted to stay home and visit with Scott's family from Maine. We've done lots of swimming, went to the Georiga Aquarium, visited Nana and Papa, visited my aunt and uncle and just relaxed. Here are some pictures from the week.

Emma's 1st Birthday

Emma turned 1 on May 27th. We had her party in Marietta at my parents house. Everything went really well. She got to eat yummy cupcakes and got lots of fun presents. We go next week for her well visit. She is not walking but now is starting to pull up and cruise on things. She is babbles a lot but is starting to say some things. We haven't gone to the big pool yet with her but can't wait to see what she thinks. Here are some pictures of her big day.

1 Year Old!

Emma turned 1 year old on Thursday. Insert tear here! We are celebrating tomorrow at Nana and Papa's house. My camera is having trouble up loading to my computer so I'm not able to post pictures. Although I can post her pictures from Alicia Beasley Photography. She put the wrong name up at the top....oops. Enjoy. Also when viewing the photos type in our email raftelisfamily@bellsouth.net so you will not get updates.

10 days

In 10 days our little Emma will be 1 yr old. It's really kinda making me sad! They grow up in a blink of an eye. People keep asking if we will have more and I keep saying "if it's Gods will". I just think it's such a hard decision to say no more kids. Scott is at that point...but I'm not. This is probably why I don't want Emma to grow up because she could possibly be our last baby. Today I threw out most of her bottles. I'm not going to lie I did save some maybe to just hold on to he hope that a few years down the road there will be one more Raftelis baby.

Emma now has no more bottle and no more formula. Formula is one thing I will not miss buying. She eats mostly all table food and I'm trying to get her on a schedule where she is eating 3 meals a day with a snack in between. Emma finally has her two bottom teeth! She still is just crawling and pulling up to her knees but is in no hurry to start cruising.
